Typhoid

Typhoid is an acute febrile illness caused by a bacterium Salmonella Typhi. It typically causes fever, headache, nausea and severe loss of appetite. There may be cough and constipation or diarrhoea. Classic typhoid fever can be a very serious disease, but antibiotics are an effective treatment.
